Note from the President
to Friends and Employees of Crown.

As a business, we have documented a corporate Mission Statement. Pursuing our Mission Statement is non-optional for every employee of the Company. There can be no dissention as to whether or not each of us strives to fulfill our corporation mission. Our Corporate Philosophy, however, is intended to clarify my personal motivations.

Our customers, suppliers, investors and prospective employees may not know me well enough to determine my motivations without the benefit of an explanation. Helping them readily understand my personal motivations is one step in maintaining the integrity mentioned in our corporate Mission Statement.

My personal mission is to serve the God of the Scriptures. I have been called to this Company to be the best President and majority shareholder that I possibly can. This includes a deep, personal commitment to each of the individuals and families affected by this business. My conviction is that this Company is my personal ministry, and that the Company must be viable and prosperous for this ministry to continue. My ownership of this business began at the culmination of a strong, personal desire to fully and honestly live out my religious convictions in every aspect of my life, including my work. My sincere desire is to create an environment in which those with similar religious desires can be encouraged in their growth and in which people who aspire to work in an environment, as described in our Mission Statement, can have a rewarding career. Not all Crown employees share my specific religious beliefs. Sharing identical religious beliefs with me is neither a pre-requisite for employment nor for prospering as a Crown employee.

Please know that behind the scenes, I am humbly seeking God’s will for my life and this business and that, in practice, I will strive to live out the answers He provides. My hope and prayer is that as you observe this Company and myself, you will encounter an accurate representation of the One I serve.
